Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Patient Care Technician to care for our patients in our Birth Place department.

Description of department: CMH's Birth Place has 6 LDRP suites for labor, delivery, and post-partum care, where mothers, fathers, and families can gather and eagerly await the arrival of their newborn. The nursery, located across from the labor and delivery rooms, offers new mothers an opportunity to rest post-delivery, as well as their first night.

Typical duties include:

1. Applying current theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of Birth Place patients.
2. Practicing special skills required as a Tech for labor and delivery.
3. Maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment.
4. Contributing actively to department operations and communication.
5. Behaving in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of CMH.
6. Performing other duties as requested.

The position is PRN, night shift, 7p-7a.
