Job summary

Ascension is seeking a PRN nurse support at the Nursing Resource Center in Evansville, IN. Nights available with flexible commitment levels.

The role involves aiding patient movement, assisting with daily living activities, documenting changes for nursing staff, and maintaining clean patient rooms and equipment. A High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience is required, with BLS due within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross acceptable).
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Aids with movement and placement of patients.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff; documents necessary records.
• Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
