Job summary

Ascension in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a Night- shift MedSurg patient care assistant. You will perform basic clinical and non-clinical tasks under supervision, assist with patient movement and ADLs, and report changes to nursing staff. Ensure rooms are clean and equipment is ready for use.

Requirements include a BLS within 30 days of hire, and a High School diploma or 1 year of related experience. Licensure can substitute education/experience; 2+ years of PCT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma or equivalent OR 1 year of relevant experience required; licensure/certification can substitute education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
