Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record patient data (vital signs, height, weight, intake/output) and report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support meals, feeding, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with patient positioning, repositioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor blood glucose where required; document results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and follow infection control protocols.
