Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Wilmington, NC to support the medical team by performing routine patient care under supervision and assisting with post-op processes.

Responsibilities include preparing kits, sterilizing equipment, directing patients and staff to rooms, and maintaining supplies and waiting areas. Requires a tech program graduate and BLS/CPR certification minimal six months related experience.

Formación

• Graduate of a patient care tech program preferred.
• Current American Heart Association certification.
• BLS certification required.

Job Title

Patient Care Technician

General Summary Of Duties

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.
