Wilmington Surgcare in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Patient Care Tech to assist with routine and professional patient care under supervision. Responsibilities include equipment handling, post-op kit preparation, directing patients and staff, maintaining sterile instruments, and setting up testing as needed.

Qualifications include graduation from a patient care tech program (preferred) with at least six months related experience, current American Heart Association certification, and BLS

Competenze

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.
