Job summary

HCA Healthcare's McAllen Surgery Center in McAllen, Texas is seeking a Patient Care Technician PRN to deliver safe, compassionate patient care, transport patients, support operating room turnover, and maintain a clean, orderly environment.

You will assist with supply management, answer phones, and perform computer data entry as needed. Qualifications include one year of patient care experience in a nursing or environmental services setting and valid BCLS certification on employment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for our ambulatory surgery center. You will provide safe and effective patient care by transporting patients safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. You will assist with operating room turnover, sterile processing, inventory and supply maintenance. What you will do in this role:

McAllen Surgery Center is located in McAllen, Texas. Our new facility will consist of three procedure rooms and one OR, and will be accredited by the Joint Commission. Our center uses the most modern surgical equipment available today. Services will include gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, colorectal, general and bariatric surgeries.
