Job summary

Greenview Surgery Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our caring, family‑oriented team. You will circulate or scrub, oversee instrument setup, and ensure safe, effective nursing care until patients transfer to recovery.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BCLS, ACLS as required, and CNOR/PALS preferred. Minimum 1 year of OR experience in ambulatory settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• PALS is preferred, but may be required at some facilities.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for your OR, including utilization of preference cards and ability to anticipate your surgeons needs.
• Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
• Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving patients to stretchers and OR tables to prevent injury
• Manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia
• Review charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will be an amazing addition to our team by contributing your expertise in the circulating or scrub role. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred from your care to recovery.

What you will do in this role:

Greenview Surgery Center is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We serve the residents of Warren County and surrounding areas of southern Kentucky. Our center opened in the fall of 2019. We are a part of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare and the first center in Kentucky. We are located off of I-65. The center is in near the Corvette plant and Museum and Western Kentucky University. Our AAAHC certified center performs over 275 cases a month. We offer ENT, endoscopy, gastroenterology, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics and urology services.
