Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Cardiac Interventional Unit in Tulsa, OK. The role supports nursing staff by providing basic patient care and assisting with daily activities to ensure quality patient experiences.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, recording observations, and transporting patients as needed. A High School diploma or GED is required, and BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in acute or long-term care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic patient care under nursing/medical supervision.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe and report patient progress to RN or medical staff.

Learn About a Day in the Life of a PCT

• Works in an entry level position providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
• Assists patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observes patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
• Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provides basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in acute or long-term care.
