Job summary

Endeavor Health, serving Arlington Heights and surrounding communities, seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Orthopedic Unit on day shifts. You will support patients with daily activities, monitor vitals, and document care under RN/LPN supervision.

Full-time, 36 hours/week with a Monday–Thursday schedule including 7:00am–7:30pm shifts. Orientation in the first week is required, with every other weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CNA course completion and CNA certification, EMT or paramedics training, or nursing program enrollment with clinical rotation.
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Aid patient mobility using proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs and input/output; report abnormalities.
• Performs procedures as directed by RN/LPN and assists with admissions, discharges, transports.
