Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a PRN Nights Nurse Aide to support the Nursery department. You’ll provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and help keep rooms and equipment ready for use.

This role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the nursing team to ensure compassionate care around the clock in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide preferred.
• Education or experience/licensure may substitute for education or experience.

Responsabilités

• Direct Patient Care: assist with daily living activities to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Clinical Monitoring: observe patients for changes and report to the nursing team.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain accurate patient records and ensure care activities are logged.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Direct Patient Care: Assisting with daily living activities (hygiene, mobility, and positioning) to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Clinical Monitoring: Observing patients for physical or emotional changes and immediately reporting updates to the nursing team.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all care activities are properly logged.
• Environmental Management: Overseeing the cleanliness of patient rooms and the readiness of medical equipment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
