Responsibilities

• Collects and records routine patient data to ensure accuracy in the patient chart and chart maintenance for accessibility.
• Performs basic patient care activities to support comfort and patient safety as directed.
• Identifies and reports unusual findings or symptoms to the supervising healthcare professional for timely intervention.
• Maintains inventory levels of stock items, supplies, and equipment; files documents as needed.
• Participates in in-service programs, meetings, and daily care rounds to stay aligned with care plan changes.
• Assists in maintaining the unit environment and supports related tasks as needed.
• Greets patients, families, and care team members, answers calls, and orients them to unit policies and hospital processes.
• Assembles patient charts for admissions and enters demographic data to ensure timely and complete records.
• Transfers charts and updates the chart locator database to keep information current.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
