• Answer call lights via wireless phones or console.
• Record patient vitals per unit specs.
• Assist with admissions: take vitals, weigh patients, assist with gowning and telemetry setup.
• Reposition patients every two hours and assist with turning.
• Ambulate patients as needed.
• Assist with meals and feeding if needed.
• Record intake and output accurately.
• Assemble charts and route charges.
• Enter orders into EMR and schedule procedures.
• Assist with patient transport.
• Maintain tidy department and storage areas.
• Assist with incentive spirometers.
• Document baths, turns, intake/output, care, vital signs and ambulation.
