Job summary

Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, IN seeks a Patient Care Technician II to join Nursing Resources (float pool). This part-time role covers 24 hours weekly with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts and provides patient care across inpatient units.

You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and help ensure patient safety, while also performing cardiac monitoring and Stat EKGs as needed. A comprehensive benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Verifiable work experience required.
• Healthcare-related work experience preferred.
• BLS certification due within 30 days of hire.
• CNA encouraged to apply for PCT roles.

Responsibilities

• Float to inpatient units to ensure nursing staff coverage.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and respond to call lights.
• Take vital signs and support patient safety.
• Perform cardiac monitoring, interpretation and Stat EKGs as assigned.
