Job summary

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to join Nursing Resources (float pool) in Columbus, Indiana. This part-time night position is 24 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating holidays and on-site work.

You will float to units, assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and help ensure patient safety. Verifiable work experience is required; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience.
• Health care-related work experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• CNA not required, but encouraged to apply for PCT positions.
• Training and time to acquire certification after employment provided by CRH.

Responsibilities

• Float to inpatient units to ensure nursing staff coverage.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and respond to call lights.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions under supervision of a nurse.
• Support patient safety and comfort on the unit.
• Work on-site in Columbus, Indiana, with part-time night shifts.
