Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, IN is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the on-site inpatient unit. The role supports an 18-bed adult unit, working 3p–11:30p, 32 hours per week with shift differentials and weekend requirements.

As a Mental Health Tech I-II, you assist with daily living, take vital signs, respond to call lights, and help maintain a safe therapeutic environment. Certification includes BLS within 30 days and Handle with Care within 60 days; advancement depends on

Qualificações

• Mental Health Tech I-AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Mental Health Tech II: Bachelor's degree in a behaviorally related field or minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Within 30 days, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Within 60 days, Handle with Care Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Answer call lights and assist with daily living activities.
• Take vital signs and monitor patients.
• Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment; provide 1:1 supervision and de-escalation.
• Lead patient group meetings when appropriate.
