Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Maintains current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of the institutional screening examination.
• Ability to solve simple problems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN in the delivery of patient care.
• Maintains safe patient environment and documents care.
• Performs routine procedures, treatments and specimen collections.
• Demonstrates phlebotomy as delegated.
• Transports patients and items as needed.
• Operates Epic and unit monitors; documents in real time.
