Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join our ICU team on nights (PRN, 7pm–7am). You’ll work under licensed staff providing direct patient care and helping with activities of daily living in a diverse, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care from birth through the lifecycle under licensed supervision.
• Assist patients with bathing, feeding, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to promote healing and safe care.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
