Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in the ICU is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Tech for days (7a–7p) with weekends and holidays availability. A $1,250 sign-on bonus is offered. Join a diverse team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care and a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients from birth through the lifecycle in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Collaborate with licensed staff to support direct patient care.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
