Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA seeks a Patient Care Tech for the Emergency Department. This full-time day shift position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care under licensed staff guidance.

You’ll assist with activities of daily living, support treatments and procedures, and collaborate with nursing teams to promote healing. Prior hospital experience and BLS certification are preferred or required per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing and feeding.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.
