Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support ICU patients during the 7p-7a night shift. You will provide direct patient care under licensed staff, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to support care delivery in the ICU.

How You’ll Make a Positive Change

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
