Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join its ICU team on a part-time day schedule (7a–7p), with weekends and holiday availability. You will work under licensed staff, delivering direct patient care and supporting treatments and daily living activities.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, hospital experience, and BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross. Nursing Assistant or PCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and other treatments as needed.
• Promote patient wellness in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
