Job summary

Atlantic Health in New Jersey is seeking a nursing assistant to support patient care and daily activities. You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility, and report changes to the RN to help ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy assistance, EKGs, and post-mortem care when required, with a collaborative team approach and strict adherence to clinical guidelines and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
• Performs post mortem care
• Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
• Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory
• Other related duties as assigned.
