Atlantic Health is seeking a compassionate patient care assistant to support doctors and nursing staff in meeting the basic needs of each patient. You will assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding and dressing, and you may monitor vital signs.

Responsibilities include obtaining and recording vitals, assisting with mobility and transfers, performing post mortem care, EKGs, phlebotomy and glucose monitoring as assigned, and reporting changes to the RN.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with ADLs: bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights.
• Assists with mobility: ambulation, transfers, discharges, ROM.
• Performs post mortem care.
• Performs EKGs, phlebotomy and glucose monitoring.
• Observes and reports changes to the RN.
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory.
• Other related duties as assigned.
