Atlantic Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support doctors and nursing staff in meeting patients' basic needs in New Jersey. Daily tasks include feeding, bathing, dressing, and assisting with mobility.

Responsibilities include obtaining and recording vital signs, weights, and heights; monitoring health status; assisting with ambulation, transfers, and ROM; and performing post-mortem care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
• Performs post mortem care
• Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
• Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory
• Other related duties as assigned.
