Baptist Health Arkansas is looking for a Patient Care Technician to assist with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene. The PCT plays a vital role in patient interaction and communication, requiring compassion and good communication skills.
This role includes education on CPR and skills training and prefers candidates with healthcare or service experience. Flexible hours are required, and you will work as part of a dedicated patient care team to meet the patients' needs.
The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.
This job will be authorized 0.80 hours bi-weekly.
