Baptist Health in Arkansas is seeking a Patient Care Technician who will assist with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene while closely interacting with patients and families. You will be part of a care team that emphasizes compassion and strong communication to ensure complete and personalized care.

The role supports ongoing education including CPR and Crucial Conversations, with multiple shifts available to meet flexible hours.

Formación

• 12 college level credit hours including English Composition with a C or higher and a GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Service industry experience preferred but not required.
• Education includes CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare.

The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.

• 12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Compositionwith a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.(transcripts will be verified upon application)
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Service industry experience preferred but not required.
• Will provide education that includes: CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare
