GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support licensed nursing staff in direct and indirect patient care. You will assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, and documentation, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Under supervision, you will participate in patient care activities, follow infection control practices, and support quality and safety initiatives within the unit.

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate in English to provide basic patient care.
• Interpersonal skills for teamwork with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and access to EMR

Responsabilités

• Provide care under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Document vitals, intake/output, and basic observations.
• Support unit staff in preparing and maintaining patient rooms and supplies.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed by the nurse.
