Highmark Health in Pittsburgh is seeking a nursing assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will perform basic nursing procedures, assist with activities of daily living, document care in the electronic medical record, and support unit coordination on the inpatient floor.

Formación

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Limited or no experience: Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred Acute care experience within the last 3 years.
• Currently enrolled in ASN or BSN program; preference for those with at least one clinical rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Performs specimen collection, intake and output, and basic tests.
• Transports patients and documents care in the EMR.
• Assists with early mobilization and ambulation protocols.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and reports changes to nursing staff.
