Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA or Health Support Professional program preferred or related education.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate information is communicated during handoffs to patients, families, and coworkers.
• Provide safe and effective patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Observe changes in patient condition and report pertinent information promptly.
• Maintain real-time documentation of patient care.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Respond to emergencies within scope of practice and report to supervisor.
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks considering patient and family needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and work areas.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and support practice changes.
