Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under the direction of a registered nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, collect specimens, and perform limited tests per provider orders while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include documenting care in the medical record, assisting with transfers, and providing attentive patient care, including monitoring and safety measures, while adhering to hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Must adhere to attendance policy and be punctual.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Document in patient records accurately.
• Collect specimens and perform limited tests per provider orders.
• Provide direct patient care and comfort, meals, mobility, and safety.
• Operate and monitor equipment as directed by the nurse.
• Transport patients and assist with transfers and discharges.
