Qualifications

• High School diploma required; basic computer skills.
• AHA Healthcare Provider Training / BLS required.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform routine activities of daily living for patients.
• Collect specimens and obtain blood glucose as ordered.
• Perform EKGs and monitor catheter care as directed.
• Transports patients and assists with transfers and discharges.
• Document care provided in Cerner and monitor patient safety.
