Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required to start.
• Preferred enrollment in ASN or BSN program for advancement.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions; basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with routine nursing tasks for stable patients.
• Assist RN in care of acutely ill patients and maintain medical asepsis.
• Document care and vital signs in the electronic medical record accurately.
• Support patient admissions, discharges and transfers, and unit upkeep.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
