The Little Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician to help maximize patient flow and deliver a stellar patient experience under the supervision of the on-duty NP/PA. The role involves front-desk tasks, EHR documentation, and assisting with clinic operations in a fast-paced retail healthcare setting.

You will greet patients, verify identities, collect payments, and assist with registration while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR/documentation.
• Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong customer service and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, quality-based, survey-ready healthcare environment.
• Greet customers and potential patients at the front area.
• Clean and organize the clinic space daily and disinfect equipment.
• Manage waiting room flow using patient queue and scheduling tools.
• Complete patient registration and verify identity.
• Enter vital signs and patient history into the EHR.
• Provide guidance on registration, wait times, and payment methods.
• Answer calls and handle patient/provider callbacks per policy.
