Job summary

Riverton Surgery Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join their team. The center delivers high-quality patient care in partnership with local physicians, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

The role involves assisting with patient care under supervision, preparing post-op kits, directing patients to rooms, maintaining sterilization and supplies, and supporting the medical staff during procedures. A strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred (CNA) and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Association certification.
• BLS certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.
