Job summary

Riverton Surgery Center, part of Surgery Partners, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support providers and patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting in Riverton, Alabama.

Under supervision, you will assist with routine care, prepare rooms, help with post-op kits, and ensure supplies and sterilization are maintained; BLS is required and CNA/PCT training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred (CNA) and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.

• Unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms.

JOB TITLE

Patient Care Technician

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred (CNA) and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.
