Job summary

Riverton Surgery Center is seeking a PRN Patient Care Technician to join their team. Under supervision, you will support routine patient care, prep rooms, and help medical staff during procedures.

The role requires completion of a CNA program, BLS certification, and at least six months of related experience. The center emphasizes compassionate patient care and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred (CNA) and at least six months prior related experience.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine patient care under supervision and help with daily activities.
• Unbag and bag equipment, prepare post-op kits, and sterilize instruments.
• Direct doctors and patients to appropriate rooms; support staff during care.
• Set up patients for required testing and maintain adequate supplies.
• Keep front and back waiting rooms orderly and clean.

Job description

Riverton Surgery Center is looking for a PRN PCT to join their team! The center provides great patient care in partnership with local physicians, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred (CNA) and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.
