Job summary

Haymarket Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a FT Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses and the care team in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, meticulous cleanliness, and collaboration with clinicians to ensure comfortable, efficient outcomes for our patients and families. Prior healthcare experience and BLS certification are valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or PCT/MA equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and medical staff in providing excellent care to patients.
• Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Provide care to the patient per nurse instructions
• Communicate effective with the healthcare team and provide support as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• BLS Required
• Certified Nurse Assistant Certification, PCT, MA or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year experience in a Healthcare setting
• Demonstrated longevity in previous roles, showcasing reliability and commitment.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
