Allegheny Health Network in Monroeville is seeking a patient care assistant to provide direct care to patients, assist the RN in caring for stable and acutely ill patients, maintain patient dignity, privacy, and a clean unit, and document care in the EMR.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADLs, specimen collection, mobility, and participation in safety and quality initiatives; must complete two weeks of training, pass background checks, and comply with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics; basic computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Provide and document direct patient care and activities of daily living.
• Participate in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Document vital signs, I&O, specimens and treatments; report changes to nursing staff.
