Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must attend 2 weeks of training.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities (ADLs, vital signs, mobility, I&O).
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and maintains a clean environment.
• Documents vital signs and treatments; communicates changes to nursing staff.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers on the unit.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
