Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join our Evanston Hospital team on a full-time night shift. The role works under an RN, delivering direct patient care and supporting a safe, high-quality experience for patients and families.

Qualified candidates will have CNA training preferred or nursing rotation, current BLS certification, and at least one year of customer service or nursing assistant experience. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical preferred
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with Vital Signs (including manual blood pressure), 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse
• Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan
• Participate in other activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
