Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Tech to join the Emergency Department on a full-time day shift (7a–7p). You will support licensed clinicians, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure safe, compassionate care across patient ages.

Eligible candidates may hold a PCT or Nursing Assistant certification, with BLS required. Piedmont emphasizes wellness, diverse teams, and career growth with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of licensed staff, provides direct patient care from birth to lifecycle.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic treatments as directed by licensed staff.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
