The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a patient care support professional to assist physicians and nurses in direct and indirect care. Responsibilities include performing EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, vital signs, and materials management in a rapid hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• One of: CMA, CNA, EMT or eligible credentialing is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to physicians and nurses.
• Perform EKGs, finger stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care.
• Record vital signs and assist in direct patient care.
• Assist with materials management and crutch fitting as directed.
