Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus, part of Valley Health System, is seeking staff to provide technical support to physicians and nurses. Responsibilities include EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and vital signs while assisting in patient care and materials management.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and recognized credentials in medical assisting or nursing support. Night shift opportunities are available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification required.
• Valid credentialing organization certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, AMCA, NCMA, NAHP, NCMA) or NJ Home Health Aide in specified roles.
• Current nursing student with BLS within 90 days may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Provide EKGs, finger-stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care.
• Record vital signs and assist with materials management per approved procedures.
• Assist patients with crutch fitting and support medical staff in direct patient care.
