Job summary

Avera on Louise Health Campus in Sioux Falls is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide routine patient care under nursing supervision. You will assist with ambulation, hygiene, nutrition, and daily activities, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients, responding to call lights, coordinating with departments, and maintaining accurate documentation. A CNA certification and strong teamwork are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform daily patient care tasks including ambulating, bathing, feeding, and basic monitoring.
• Must respond promptly to patient call lights and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Must be able to read and follow directions, document care, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care under supervision of nurse or physician.
• Greet patients and visitors, relay messages, and assist with department errands.
• Ambulate patients, assist transfers in and out of wheelchairs, and monitor intake/output.
• Answer phones, coordinate with departments, and assist with scheduling and admissions.
