Avera Health is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine patient care at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD. The role supports nurses and physicians with ambulation, bathing, positioning, and feeding, while promptly responding to call lights and patient needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, handling patient belongings, and assisting with meals and transports. A CNA license or CNA training is preferred, with a competitive hourly rate and rotating

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred/licensed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine patient care and support services per policies and procedures.
• Ambulate, bathe, position, and assist with feeding and other care tasks.
• Respond to patient call lights and safeguard patient belongings.
• Greet visitors, relay messages, and assist with gifts, flowers, and mail.
• Assist with transport of patients and specimens as needed.
• Prepare requisitions for diagnostic/therapeutic services and coordinate appointments.
• Maintain orderly patient rooms and perform routine cleaning tasks.
