Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential job functions including adequate visual acuity and effective communication.
• CNA certification/licensing required; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe direct patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, feeding, and attending to care needs.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and special needs, and assists with messages, gifts, flowers, and mail.
• Ambulates patients and assists with transfers and wheelchair use; measures intakes/outputs; may collect specimens.
