Virtua Health is seeking a part-time patient care technician to assist with daily living activities and support the care team at Marlton, NJ. The role involves delivering direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision and contributing to a safe, respectful, and efficient clinical environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and have completed a PCT/CNA program or equivalent experience. BLS certification is required, with phlebotomy/ECG experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Strong communication skills required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting).
• Take vital signs and perform routine point-of-care tasks per RN/LPN instructions.
• Document patient status changes and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Reinforce patient and family education and participate in quality initiatives.
