Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.

You will support a team caring for patients, perform ADLs, monitor vital signs, and contribute to a safe, healing environment on a 36-hour per week, day shift schedule. Responsibilities include data collection, patient education support, and maintaining supplies and equipment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under supervision of the nurse and assists with ADLs, vital signs, intake/output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education; documents care activities with correct terminology; acts as 1:1 safety sitter as needed.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
