Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. The role supports a team responsible for patient safety and comfort during a 7:00 a.m.

to 7:00 p.m. day shift, full-time 36 hours per week, with holiday and weekend rotation. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vital signs, collecting data, documenting care, and participating in safety and education activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and monitor patient status.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with ADLs and vital signs under nurse supervision.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes to the nurse.
• Assists with patient and family education; may serve as 1:1 safety sitter as needed.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory compliance and professional development.
